Crystal Decanter

Crystal Decanter

The bottle itself has three edges or dimples, very much like a Pinch bottle. There is silver filigree around all the edges and in the middle of one dimple is a silver shield with the boar's head engraved thereon. Above it again in silver is "The Chisholm" and the two other dimples are filled almost entirely with ornately designed ferns.
The provenance of the decanter is not certain, but the owner believes it was presented to his great grandfather in the 1920' by the then Lord Lovat in Beauly.
