Dr Cecilia (Jan) Chisholm, Helensburgh, Scotland

Jan passed away in September 2020. Her funeral took place at Old Dalnottar cemetery, Clydebank, Dunbartonshire on Tuesday 6th October 2020.
Jan attended our gatherings regularly and was always one to make a gathering convivial especially at the Clan Village at the Inverness Highland Games where she would chat to the other clans and clansfolk in the marquee.

Virginia Medlam, Gloucester, England

Virginia, widow of Wilfrid Medlam passed away on Sunday 14th April, 2013. Juliette has sent sympathies to Wilfrid and Virginia's son Charles and his two sisters. Wilfrid set the groundwork for today's genealogy database and spent many years and his own funds travelling the UK and the world researching Chisholm and related family trees.

Alan Chisholm, Elgin, Scotland

The following obituary notice is taken from the Inverness Courier. Alan was younger brother of Duncan Chisholm, Kiltmaker, Inverness
CHISHOLM (Elgin) Peacefully, at Dr. Gray's Hospital, Elgin, on Monday, April 8, 2013, Alan Campbell, aged 68 years, of Golfview Crescent, New Elgin. Dearly beloved husband of Jeanette, much loved dad, father-in-law, granda and brother. Funeral ceremony at William Watson Funeral Directors, Blackfriars Road, Elgin, on Friday, April 12, at 2 p.m., thereafter to Elgin Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, at ceremony for cancer charities and the R.N.L.I.

Malcolm Chisholm, Durban, South Africa

Malcolm Chisholm of Durban, South Africa died aged 87 on Monday 4th March 2013. Malcolm passed away in Addlington Hospital while recovering from hip replacement surgery following a fall whilst on a walk a week earlier.

Robert Chisholm, Raynes, Essex

In January we received the sad news that Robert Chisholm of Rayne in Essex had died on Tuesday 15th aged 90. A long standing member of the Society he joined on 15th May 1979. Bob with his wife Gloria and son David and family attended the Borders Gathering in 2009. Alan Chisholm of Somerset who with his wife Jean has attended many of our gatherings and clan walks is brother to Bob. The funeral was held at Rayne on Monday 26th January. A piper led the hearse and the funeral was well represented by scouts with the local commissioner giving a reflection on Bob's contribution to the movement.

Sue Thomson, Kilmorack, Scotland

Sue Thomson passed away peacefully on New Years Eve following a short final illness. Sue and husband John, through the Kilmorack Heritage Association have been of enormous help over the years to the Clan Chisholm Society. Sue helped many Chisholm's around the world with their family history researches and her knowledge and assistance will be greatly missed.

Fiona Walker (née Chisholm), Scone, Scotland

Fiona passed away on Monday 22nd October 2012 aged 68 after a long illness. A private family funeral was followed on 31st October by a Thanksgiving Service at Scone. Fiona and husband Robin attended the 2006 International Gathering in Inverness. The couple have four sons. Fiona was second cousin/cousin to Jan Chisholm of Helensburgh, Argyll & Bute, Matthew Chisholm, Rhu, Argyll & Bute and Jean Macmillan of Achnasheen, Ross-shire all members of the Clan Chisholm Society.
